What is a sustainable exhibition booth?

A sustainable exhibition booth is a trade show structure built from materials with low environmental impact, designed for easy recycling or reuse at end of life. EcoStands booths are made from 100% recyclable FSC certified cardboard, with no plastic laminates, and are fully repulpable through standard recycling.

How is a cardboard booth different from a traditional booth?

Traditional booths use MDF, aluminium and plastics, often shipped long distances and disposed of after one show. A cardboard booth weighs a fraction of a traditional build, ships flat-pack, installs in hours and recycles in a single waste stream.

Are cardboard booths strong enough for a full trade show?

Yes. Engineered cardboard like Xanita board is structurally rigid, supports shelving, screens and signage, and stands up to a full multi-day show. We have delivered booths from 7ft to 30ft span using cardboard structures.

Can I order a sustainable booth from outside the UK?

Yes. We work with international exhibitors regularly. You brief us remotely, sign off design over video calls, and the booth is delivered and installed at the UK or European venue. Nothing ships from your country.

Do you handle install and breakdown at the venue?

Yes. Our team handles delivery, install on the setup day and full breakdown after the show. The booth materials are recycled in the UK.

Are EcoStands booths fire rated for UK and EU venues?

Yes. All our booths meet the fire-retardancy standards required by ExCeL London, Olympia, NEC, Manchester Central, SEC Glasgow, ACC Liverpool and major European venues. Certificates supplied on request.

What size cardboard booth do I need for a 10ft x 10ft plot?

A 10ft x 10ft US plot maps directly to our 3m x 3m inline booth or, for a corner plot, our 3m x 3m corner booth.

What sustainability data do you provide for procurement and ESG reporting?

We supply per-booth material weight, FSC chain of custody documentation, transport miles, end-of-life recycling routes and a comparison versus a like-for-like aluminium or MDF baseline. This plugs directly into GHG Protocol Scope 3, CDP, EcoVadis and SBTi reporting.

How long does it take to design and deliver a booth?

From sign-off, we typically deliver in three to six weeks. Off-the-shelf booth sizes can be faster. For bespoke island stands of 20ft x 20ft or larger, we recommend allowing twelve weeks.
